Club Northwest Annual Meeting

What: A brief meeting including Board elections, refreshments, keynote speaker, and a celebration of our past year and a kick-off to 2019!
The event is open to all current Club Northwest members, their families and guests.

Garrett Heath
Minnesotan through and through, Garrett's roots are placed in Winona, where he attended Winona Senior High School prior to the taking a westerly direction for Stanford University. Not only did he earn undergraduate and Masters degrees in Management Science and Engineering while with the Cardinals, but he also went on to become an NCAA Champion in the DMR and a 9-time NCAA All-American. Now training in Seattle with the Brooks Beasts, Garrett has proven to be a rare triple threat with world class results in cross country, on the road and on the track. Among his titles are the 2013 US Road Mile Championship and twice the Great Edinburgh XC 4k.
Garrett's love for the outdoors can be traced back to his youth. He grew up taking family camping trips to the mountains and used cross country skiing as a way to stay fit in the winter. Garrett has progressively focused more exclusively on just running but continues to enjoy camping and hiking in the mountains in the off season. In the winter, he likes to grow out his beard and hair to stay warm, but on the cooler temps, Garrett says, "Maybe it's from growing up in Minnesota, but I also love to compete in cold and snowy conditions."
