The Club Northwest Youth Cross Country Team is for athletes ages 5-18 of all ability levels who are interested in competing in Cross Country during the fall and achieving their personal goals.
Each member of the Youth Cross Country Team will receive a free Club Northwest singlet to race in.
Location
Practices are held at Woolsey Stadium at King's High School in Shoreline, WA (19303 Fremont Ave North). If you have never been there, it may be helpful to look at google maps to see where the track is on the campus. Parking will be above the stadium, the first parking lot you encounter as you head toward the track. Parents are invited to workout at the track or on the on-campus trails during practices.
Practices
Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4pm to 5pm starting September 5th. The timing of practices is tentative and can be adjusted according to the needs of athletes.
Coach
All practices are coached by Deborah Fletcher, who is a successful CNW masters runner and marathoner. Please contact Deborah at dfletch1970@msn.com with any questions.
Paperwork
Registration will be online at clubnorthwest.org. Each athlete needs to be a member of Club Northwest, either as an individual youth team member or as part of a family membership. Each athlete will need to have a waiver signed by their parents. Parents working out at the track will also need to sign their own waiver.
Cost
Youth Team Practice Fees: $150 for the Fall XC season.
