To provide reliable track access in the face of increasing conflict with school events, we've secured permits for Roosevelt Track for fall 2026. To cover the cost, athletes attending Tues or Weds nights will be required to pay a track use fee of $25/season.
Q&A:
Why are we paying dues for track access now? We have experienced more schedule conflicts with school events in recent years, and recently the track has become increasingly "walled-off" to the public. Having permits guarantees our ability to stay on the track and not get kicked off or delay workouts. These dues are necessary to fund the annual cost of ~$10,000 in permit fees.
Why $25? The price is set to exactly cover the $10k annual cost with no extra profit. It is based on the number of people paying, along with the total anticipated permit cost. Any extra is put toward the next season. We will revisit the price every season to make sure CNW nets $0.
How do I pay the dues? Simply register for this event.
Who pays dues? All athletes attending Tuesday night or Wednesday night practices.
When do I have to pay? Athletes may use a 2-week trial period from when they first join workouts, then are required to pay.
What if I join midway through a season? Unfortunately, we don't offer prorating.
